Risks of plastic surgery after 65, what awaits Lyn May?

The 67-year-old vedette Lyn May has spent many years of her life trying to fix an aesthetic problem that occurred when oil was injected into her face, leaving several consequences in her life. However, these procedures involve several risks from a certain age.

The model and dancer, who recently assured that she was Juan Gabriel's "girlfriend" when he was not yet famous, went to Dr. José Achar to make some arrangements and be able to recover the face that made her one of the most famous stars of the decade of 70's.

"Seeing myself in the mirror, I wanted to commit suicide several times," Lyn May confessed in an interview with Karina Monroy, before going to an assessment with the doctor to see what treatment was the most appropriate.

Dr. Achar pointed out that he has worked on the star's face on more than one occasion to remove all the fillers that were put on her, although it has not been an easy task and there are still a few sessions to complete the process.

In addition to the corrections on her face, the star plans to change her breast prostheses that she currently has to fit a size 34 D, since she considers that her breasts are very close together and she does not like that, according to Infobae.

As if that weren't enough, Lyn May would also undergo surgery to reduce the size of her waist, which is currently just over 23 inches.

More and more women and men over 65 are undergoing plastic surgery, the most common being liposuction and facelifts, according to surgeon Gustavo Sordo.

All aesthetic procedures carry risks that are not related to age, however, in some surgeries there are factors to consider when it comes to older patients.

In the case of liposuction, older patients may also consider undergoing a tummy tuck, since over time the skin loses elasticity and there is a risk of excess skin after fat removal.

When planning a blepharoplasty, which is surgery on the eyelids, a smaller amount of tissue removal should be considered, as older people are more likely to develop dry eyes.

On the other hand, when thinking about facial peels, it is better to do several sessions before a deep chemical peel, since mature skin is much thinner than in other people.
