A body language expert said Prince William used to be "nervous" and "introverted" in public, but "flourished" after marrying Princess Kate.
Prince William's character has transformed from feeling "out of place" to a confident heir to the throne, a body language expert has claimed. And, the praise for this change has been directed towards Princess Kate.
Body language expert Darren Stanton analysed the Prince of Wales's behaviour and claimed that he has "found his feet" within the Royal family, and is "capable of taking anything on".
[As he turns 42, Prince William's confidence and influence on the monarchy is much greater than at the beginning of his life as a royal.
Stanton said he used to be "nervous" and "introverted" in public, but "flourished" after marrying Princess Kate and recently becoming the Prince of Wales.
He added that the prince finally feels "comfortable" in asserting his dominance in situations, showing he is "ready" to give more within his royal role and striving to keep following in his mother Princess Diana’s footsteps.Speaking on behalf of Betfair Bingo, Stanton revealed:
"When William first started being out in public as a working Royal and exposed to public life, he was shy and kept to himself as much as possible.
"William was very nervous and introverted. He didn’t come across as very confident, he used to put his hands in his pockets and would blush a lot of the time when he felt out of place - which he inherited from Charles.
"Not too long after he was newly married to Kate, we saw a real change in William’s confidence and the sense of belief he had in himself. Whenever he was carrying out engagements around that time of his life, he found a new pace with his confidence. We would see him go from strength to strength.
"He finally felt comfortable taking control of situations and asserting himself when necessary. Now William has more experience in putting himself out there by representing the Royal Family, it feels more natural for him.
"With this, we see fewer instances of William showing signals of nervousness. We may see the odd occasion where William is feeling overwhelmed, but he now feels capable as the Prince of Wales to take anything on.
"Prince William celebrated his 42nd birthday today, and the Wales's X account shared a sweet picture of him with Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and Prince George on Holkham Beach in Norfolk - a favourite of the Royal Family'sKate wrote a caption alongside the new picture, which read: "Happy birthday Papa, we all love you so much! Cx."
The four of them are holding hands and jumping in the air from a sand dune, all with excited smiles on their faces in the photo taken by Kate, marking a break away from the traditional photos shared of royals on their birthdays.
