Princess Anne, following in her late father's footsteps, has been described as "the strongest working Royal" by her brother's former butler.
The former butler to King Charles revealed that Princess Anne possesses Prince Philip's fearless attitude, which might aid her recovery after a horse-related accident on Sunday.
Grant Harrold, who served as a butler for King Charles and Queen Camilla from 2004 to 2011, and also spent time with Princess Anne, described her as "the strongest working Royal" who "doesn’t let anything faze her."
Grant believes she inherited these qualities from her father, Prince Philip, including a "straight-talking" nature, a good sense of humour, and a "no-nonsense" approach, which he shared in an interview with Slingo.
He said: “She was very good with her mother and spent a lot of time with her. They have many similarities in looks and mannerisms, but also with her father.
“Philip was very straight-talking, and so is she. Anne has great humour and is a great support for the King," reports the Mirror. Princess Anne remains in the hospital recovering from her injuries after the accident on Sunday.
It is believed she may have been kicked or headbutted by the animal on her Gatcombe Park estate.
Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying: "The Princess Royal sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening.
“Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery.
“The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery." Meanwhile, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence stated that Princess Anne is “recovering slowly” after visiting her at the Bristol hospital.
Her husband spent two-and-a-half hours with Anne yesterday, Wednesday, June 26, and left the main Brunel building at Southmead Hospital just before 2 pm.
When asked about Anne's discharge from the hospital, he said: "She'll be out when she's ready."
