Prince Harry is thought to be working on a documentary focused on Africa, a place where he often traveled, carried out charitable projects, and made long-lasting friendships.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been tipped to "explore other opportunities" independently rather than carry out all their projects as a couple.
While Meghan has recently struck a partnership with Hollywood agent Ari Emanuel at WME, Prince Harry has been rumored to be preparing to work on a documentary focused on Africa.
These different commitments would come after the pair have worked together on a number of projects, including their record-breaking biographical Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan and the docu-series Live to Lead.
While a commentator said the focus on two vastly different worlds by Meghan and Harry may show a misalignment in the Duke and Duchess' view of showbiz, PR expert Mayah Riaz doesn't believe the pair's brand will be negatively impacted by solo projects.
She told the Mirror: "We have seen Prince Harry and Meghan do things independently for a little while now.
"I don't believe this to be brand damaging, but a way they can explore other opportunities which are important to them as individuals.
"I still believe they still are seen together in public and where opportunities arise, will work together."
Indeed, Meghan and Harry continue to lead together Archewell, their organization encompassing two production companies and a non-profit foundation.
The pair have spoken about working together on a number of occasions, including in an interview for US magazine The Cut.
Showing their shared office to their interviewer last summer, Harry said: "Most people that I know and many of my family, they aren’t able to work and live together.
"It’s actually really weird because it’d seem like a lot of pressure. But it just feels natural and normal."
Their home office set-up was also briefly shown during their biographical documentary when both Harry and Meghan were filmed sitting behind their laptops.
The Duke's rumoured documentary on Africa would not be his first recent solo project, as in January he released his best-selling memoir, Spare.
In the summer of 2021, Meghan also released a book, a children's novella titled The Bench.
Meghan also led separately from Harry her podcast show Archetypes, while the Duke is expected to release Heart of Invictus, a docu-series focused on the inspirational stories of some of the veterans and servicepeople who take part in his Invictus Games.
