The famous actress from Gossip Girl, Blake Lively, made news when she decided to fix a fashion display at an exhibit in London's Kensington Palace. This show, called Crown to Couture, had on display her famous dress from the 2022 Met Gala.

She shared a fun video on her Instagram where she's seen jumping over the barriers at the museum to straighten her dress on the mannequin. She mentioned it in her caption, saying, "When you’re the silly person who jumps over the rope at the museum to fix the display. Almost time for Virgo season, folks."

Kneeling down, the well-known actress flipped the center part of the dress inside out, showcasing the alterations it had undergone. She was aided in this task by esteemed jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz.

The Met Gala dress, which drew considerable attention and praise, is featured in the exhibition along with 200 other pieces. Other standout outfits displayed include Lizzo's 2022 Met Gala attire by Thom Browne and Lady Gaga's dress by Christopher John Rogers for the 2020 MTV Awards.

The exhibition housed in Princess Diana's former residence doesn't exclusively focus on modern fashion; it also delves into its historical roots. It investigates how 18th-century Georgian royals have shaped rock and red-carpet style.

During her trip to the exhibition, the mother of four also appreciated the crown Lorraine Schwartz had crafted for her to do with the dress at the 2022 Met Gala. Lively shared her admiration in a subsequent post, where she posted a photo of herself grinning next to the display case.

She penned, "This was absolutely surreal. Seeing this crown that we made in Kensington Palace. I still feel like a kid playing dress up every time I put on a gown and borrowed jewels. Seeing it immortalized like this... just. Wow. Something I’ll never forget."
