This March 25, The Lost City, the new film by Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, finally premieres. The film is already a critical success, reaching 88% acclaim on Rotten Tomatoes.
However, not all of the star's films have been successful. In conversation with TooFab, Bullock revealed that there is a movie that she wishes she had never made and to this day she is embarrassed to have been a part of it.
This is Speed 2, the sequel to the action film that became a phenomenon during the nineties. However, the second part failed to win over critics or fans and is considered one of the worst films in history.
"That's a movie she wishes she had never made," Sandra Bullock revealed to the outlet. "I'm so embarrassed to have been a part of it. I've been honest about it. It doesn't make sense," added the actress about her most controversial film.
Speed 2 achieved 8 nominations for the Razzie Awards, the ceremony that "rewards" the worst of cinema. This included a Sandra Bullock nomination for Worst Actress of the Year, something that certainly affected her at the time.
Originally, Speed had Keanu Reeves in the cast. However, the actor decided not to be a part of the sequel once he read the script. "I have nothing against the artists involved, but at that moment I knew it was not the right thing to do," said the actor.
The Lost City will be released this March 25 in American theaters and will be an important in the career of the actress. And it is that it will be her last tape for a while, after Sandra Bullock announced a pause in her career.
