Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard: the model Kate Moss testifies in the trial of her ex-partner

British supermodel Kate Moss said that her ex-boyfriend Johnny Depp never abused her, contradicting claims made by the actor's ex-wife, Amber Heard.

The model, the actor's partner during the 90s, has intervened by videoconference to answer questions from Depp's legal team focused on the alleged episode of violence when they were a couple.

"Johnny never pushed me, threw me or kicked me down some stairs." Kate Moss was blunt in her brief intervention today in the trial that confronted her ex, Johnny Depp, with Amber Heard.

Moss's testimony was brief, barely A few minutes, and thousands of miles from the Virginia courthouse, the supermodel intervened by videoconference from England, to answer questions from Benjamin Chew, the lawyer who leads Depp's legal team, questions that were only intended to clarify whether Depp shot Moss down some stairs when they were dating, back in the 90s, during a vacation in Jamaica.

Johnny Depp listens to the testimony of Kate Moss.

The reason? Heard had assured in a previous statement, on May 9, that he was afraid during a violent argument that Depp would throw his sister Whitney down some stairs:

"In my head, I instantly thought of Kate Moss and the stairs." An old rumor, long before Heard and Depp's relationship, that the actor had thrown Moss down some stairs in the past.

In reality, Moss said, she did have a similar incident, but by herself and due to a slip after a storm during a vacation in Jamaica. “We were walking out of the room, Johnny was ahead.

It had rained a lot and as I was leaving the room, I slipped down the stairs. I hurt my back. And I screamed because I didn't know what had happened to me and it hurt."

Heard recalled the alleged incident when, according to her statement, Depp became violent with her sister Whitney (who has also testified at trial that the 58-year-old actor assaulted them both). Moss's statement has served to deny a rumor from 25 years ago.
