According to Gaga, before her first song, "Just Dance", was released, she was advised to have plastic surgery on her nose. “I was told when I was starting out that I should have plastic surgery on my nose,” Gaga said in an interview with Sky News. “But I didn't do it because I wanted to be who I was. I said no. I love my Italian nose,” she added.

Lady Gaga's nose was also addressed in the movie "A Star Is Born", where her character complains about her nose and Bradley Cooper's character claims to find it beautiful.
