Royal Snub! The Shocking Reason Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Will Never Be Welcomed Back as Working Royals"

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who stepped back from their roles as senior working royals in 2020, appear unlikely to reverse their decision. Despite showing no interest in resuming royal duties, any potential return would require significant effort to regain public favor.

Although controversies surrounding Prince Harry's memoir "Spare" and their six-part Netflix series have subsided, lingering hurt feelings and their plummeting popularity in the UK remain obstacles.

GB News presenter Cameron Walker discussed the possibility of their return, noting that it extends beyond King Charles. Walker pointed out that Harry and Meghan consistently rank low in public opinion polls, which presents a major issue. He explained, "If they become working members of the Royal Family again, taxpayers would have to cover their security, staff, travel, and other expenses."

Currently residing in Montecito, California, with their children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, Harry and Meghan are focused on family and various ventures such as the Invictus Games and their Archewell foundation. They also have upcoming projects like a "his and hers" Netflix series on cookery and polo.

Reflecting on the past, Walker remarked, "I don’t think Meghan wants to be a working member of the Royal Family again, given her previous dissatisfaction with the role. While a return seems unlikely, it's unfortunate that Harry has lost physical contact with his closest family members."

Royal watchers shared mixed reactions, with one person commenting, "It’s a terrible look for the entire family that they are not forgiving of another." Another reader added, "No reasonable person will ever trust a family member who publicly criticizes them." A third expressed surprise at the ongoing discussion, stating, "Meghan and Harry don't seem to want to return to that life. They want their children to have a relationship with their relatives."
