Ryan Reynolds, the man who cheated on Scarlett Johansson

Today, Ryan Reynolds is known for being one of the most beloved actors on the internet and for his adorable relationship with his wife, Blake Lively. The couple has 3 children, and it seems like they have always been together. 

However, there was a time when Reynolds was married to another actress and actually cheated on her to be with the love of her life. If you look back at Hollywood history, you will find that Reynolds had a 2-year marriage to Scarlett Johansson.

Reynolds and Johansson were very private with their relationship, so we don't know exactly how they met. But we do know that in 2007 they were already dating. The couple was rarely seen together, and very few images exist from this time. But after only a year of dating, they officially announced their engagement.

 With only a few friends and family in attendance, the couple tied the knot at a retreat outside of Vancouver. They did not provide details to the press and kept everything under wraps. We don't even know what kind of dress Johansson was wearing, and of course, those photographs never surfaced. 

A very private relationship Around their first anniversary, Johansson finally spoke to Glamor about why she kept the relationship so private. "I would never ask anyone about her marriage if she didn't know them," she said. Johansson also insisted that she was not the person who should be giving marriage advice to anyone, so she saw no point in discussing her relationship. 

“I don't claim to know anything about marriage that no one else knows, or how to fix it. I don't want to read about someone giving me relationship advice," he said. He also insisted that he deserved a private life and that no one else needed to know any details about his life: "So I try to keep some things to myself," he said. Johansson, "To have a private life. Because that's all you have, really, isn't it? 

When it comes to what separates you from the next person. You don't go to work and talk about your marriage. Why should I ?" Because of this, not much was always known about their relationship, until they eventually separated and divorced.

 Unfortunately, in 2010 the couple announced that they were in the process of separating. Many things have been blamed for the end of their marriage, but Johansson herself believes that she married very young (at 23). 

There were also reports that they fought a lot; There was even one particular incident when Johansson was heard yelling at Reynolds in her trailer. Johansson has since suggested that Reynolds was too competitive with her careers and has also gone so far as to say that the lack of privacy was a big problem for the couple.

 However, rumors indicate that Ryan may have cheated on Scarlett with Lively. And, in fact, their relationship was already official even when their divorce was not yet finalized. Currently, Reynolds has no problem sharing his relationship with his audience; in fact, they are one of the most open couples in Hollywood and have won the hearts of their fans. Reynolds quickly moved on with Lively, whom he had met towards the end of his relationship with Johansson on the set of "The Green Lantern." 

Lively and Reynolds hit it off right away, and as we all know, they've been living a fairy tale ever since. On the other hand, Johansson has had some trouble finding the right man. After Ryan, she met Romain Dauriac with whom she had a daughter. She and she is now engaged to Collin Jost.
